Sebastian Ochoa

Interview note: Sebastian is currently serving with the U.S. Marine Corps and was unable to participate in our Champion interview. PAL Boxing Coach Mo Brooks helped us celebrate Sebastian by sharing the highlights below about his accomplishments and impact at PAL.

Congratulations to Sebastian Ochoa, age 18, a recent graduate of Nashua High School North and United States Marine, on being named Nashua PAL’s 2026 Boxer of the Year!

Sebastian finished his PAL Boxing season with a 2–1 record, but his impact in the gym goes far beyond wins and losses. PAL Boxing Coach Mo Brooks said, “He’s a team leader and a role model for the young kids coming up behind him showing them what discipline, respect, and hard work look like every day.” Through the way he trains, competes, and carries himself, Sebastian has set an example for the younger athletes following in his footsteps.

That determination extends beyond the boxing ring. A standout wrestler at Nashua North, Sebastian finished his high school career with an impressive 43–10 record, breaking multiple school records along the way. He placed third at both the Meet of Champions and the Division I Championship at 126 pounds. As Coach Mo put it, “Sebastian has a stellar combination of heart in the ring, toughness on the mat, and character in life, which is exactly why we chose him as Boxer of the Year.”

After graduating from Nashua North this year, Sebastian took that discipline and drive into his next chapter, joining the United States Marine Corps. The qualities that have made him a PAL Champion – hard work, toughness, respect, leadership, and a willingness to challenge himself – are qualities he now carries with him as he serves our country.
