Adrianna Carter

Nashua PAL's 2026 Cheerleader of the Year

2026 Cheerleading

Congratulations to Adrianna Carter, age 13, an eighth grader at Hollis/Brookline Middle School, on being named Nashua PAL’s 2026 Cheerleader of the Year!

Hardworking, dedicated, and determined to keep getting better, Adrianna has spent the past four years growing into both an exceptional athlete and a leader within PAL Cheer. Coach Emily Ochoa describes her as “the definition of commitment,” an athlete who attends every practice and voluntary clinic she can, constantly pushes herself to improve, and is always ready to help a teammate. Perhaps nothing captures Adrianna’s approach better than the question she regularly asks when learning a new skill: “Can you watch me and tell me what I can do better?” She welcomes feedback, learns from it, and brings that same commitment to helping others become stronger athletes.

Adrianna’s loyalty to her team is just as remarkable as her work ethic. Through injuries that prevented her from participating physically, she continued showing up to every practice and competition to support her teammates. Adrianna has found a home at PAL, even traveling a good distance to remain part of the program she loves. She has encouraged friends to join, worked with teammates outside of practice, and already hopes to return someday as a student demonstrator and eventually a coach.

Ask Adrianna what PAL means to her, and her answer captures the spirit she brings to the team: “PAL means so much… PAL means to be fierce, PAL means to help people, and PAL means to never give up and never don’t try.” She credits Coach Emily with believing in her when she needed it and offers younger athletes advice rooted in her own experience: “If you’re determined to do something you will achieve it either now or later.”

Outside of cheer, Adrianna enjoys hanging out with friends, going to the skatepark, and spending time at the pool. Looking ahead, she dreams of attending cosmetology school and becoming a hairdresser. Whatever path she chooses, Adrianna is already showing that determination, confidence, and a willingness to keep learning can take her far.

Congratulations, Adrianna, on being named Nashua PAL’s 2026 Cheerleader of the Year!
