2023 PAL Boxer of the Year
Jayden Maldonado, a recent 2023 graduate of Nashua High South, is Nashua PAL’s Boxer of the Year! At 18 years old, Jayden’s dedication to the sport and impressive achievements have made him a standout in the boxing community.
In a remarkable display of talent and heart, Jayden participated in a charity fight night event in Andover, MA, where this young man not only showcased his skills but also won his fight. His performance was so exceptional that he was honored with the title of “Boxer of the Night.” Jayden also competed in the King of the Ring, a challenging 5-day tournament hosted at the Boys & Girls Club in Lynn, MA. Jayden’s determination and skill in the ring paid off, as he emerged as the tournament champion. He also earned outstanding boxer in his division!
Beyond his accomplishments, Jayden is a role model at the PAL boxing gym. Nashua PAL boxing Coach Muhammad Brooks said, “This young man is a strong leader at the PAL boxing gym. All of the young kids look up to him, and he leads by example. I’m so proud of Jayden – the sky is the limit for this young man!” Jayden is a two-time winner of Nashua PAL’s Boxer of the Year award – 2021 and now 2023. His commitment to the sport and his ability to motivate and guide others are qualities that set him apart.
Jayden’s dedication to boxing, his leadership, and his impressive victories make him a deserving recipient of the PAL Boxer of the Year award. Congratulations to Jayden on this well-earned recognition!
