2023 PAL Female Cross Country Runner of the Year
Rosalie Neveu, a 14-year-old freshman at Nashua North High School and promising young athlete, is Nashua PAL’s Girls Cross Country Runner of the Year. Rosie’s remarkable accomplishments in the world of cross country running are worth celebrating!
Rosie’s journey with PAL began when she was just 10 years old, and it’s been nothing short of impressive. She has displayed exceptional talent and earned a spot at the nationals year after year. Rosie placed 14th overall in the New England Association; 22nd overall in the Region 1 Championship race; and an impressive 114th in the country at the USATF Junior Olympic Cross Country Championships!
Beyond her individual achievements, Rosie embodies the true spirit of a team player. She infuses her teammates with positivity and joy, creating an environment of camaraderie and encouragement at both practices and competitions. Rosie can always be found at the finish line cheering on her teammates of all ages.
Coach Hathaway recognizes Rosie’s for her consistent growth as a runner and teammate. She notes, “Rosie is constantly striving to improve herself and achieve her goals. I am excited to see her move to the next level as she tackles the 5k in high school this year.”
