Kevin Boyarsky

Nashua PAL’s 2025 PAL of the Year

2025

Congratulations to Kevin Boyarsky, known to many as “Coach Kevin,” on being named Nashua PAL’s 2025 PAL of the Year! Nashua PAL is proud to recognize Kevin – a coach, mentor, and community leader, whose impact will be felt for years to come.

Kevin has lived in New Hampshire since he was 9 years old and has raised his three boys here with his supportive wife, Cheryl, who also mentors at the PAL Youth Safe Haven. Introduced to PAL through a close friend, Courtney Smith, Kevin brought with him a lifelong commitment to community service and a passion for coaching youth sports. After selling his business, New Hampshire Print & Mail Service, three years ago, he dedicated even more time to mentoring PAL youth, finding joy in coaching soccer and guiding young athletes both on and off the field.

What makes Kevin stand out is not just his knowledge of the game, but the heart and intention he brings to every session. Each week, he presents a “Game Ball” to a deserving player – a tradition that builds pride, confidence, and joy. PAL’s Family Support Specialist Jenn Benoit shares, “Kevin is dedicated, patient, fair, and optimistic. The way kids light up when they return with the Game Ball is priceless. Kevin is truly one of a kind, and the kids can’t wait for him to come each week.”

PAL Officer Ben Stusse added, “I get to see soccer with Coach Kevin every week. The kids develop skills they didn’t think possible, and learn to work as a team. Kevin is fair, firm, and consistent. He embodies the ultimate mentor and coach. Every week we talk about what he saw in the kids and who to encourage next. There’s magic in what he’s doing.”

One of Kevin’s favorite memories at PAL was strumming his guitar and leading the Youth Safe Haven kids in singing Christmas carols for Santa. It was a moment full of laughter, joy, and togetherness, and it perfectly reflects the heart and dedication he brings to every child he mentors.

Kevin’s commitment to community extends beyond PAL with lifelong dedication to service and mentorship. He has been a Rotary member for over 20 years, serving in leadership roles, started Bedford High School’s Interact Club with his sons, and has participated on boards such as the Child Advocacy Center, Concord Chamber of Commerce, and the NH Business & Industry Association.

Congratulations, Coach Kevin, on being named Nashua PAL’s 2025 PAL of the Year!
