Nashua PAL Boxing


The Nashua PAL Boxing Gym, “Franks Gym”, is located at 52 Ash Street, Nashua. The gym is dedicated to our beloved Coach Frank Chimento, who served Nashua youth for over 25 years. The Nashua PAL Boxing program is open to ALL persons over age 11 that are interested in new opportunities and challenges in fitness, discipline, and training.

Youth athletes work alongside USA Boxing certified coaches and Olympic style boxers. Training at every level occurs daily, with individual training sessions available by appointment. Boxers compete annually in the Silver Mittens & Golden Gloves Tournaments, as well as various other boxing shows across New England. The Boxing Gym also occasionally offers a unique ladies only training option depending on training scheduled.

Nashua PAL Cross Country

Nashua PAL Cross Country is the premier youth program of New England. Nashua PAL has a cross country team in every Nashua elementary school – welcoming close to 1,000 elementary age youth every year to our PAL Cross Country Championship (October). This program focused on fitness, goal setting, and encouraging one’s teammates. If you are interested in joining the PAL Cross Country elementary program, please contact your school administrator.

Additionally, Nashua PAL Gate City Striders (GCS) is comprised of various age groups across the New Hampshire community. Nashua PAL Gate City Striders (GCS) is a Junior Olympic National Champion team (USATF), recognized for being one of the largest youth running programs. We strive to maintain our successes through a positive environment that’s engaging to all participants. Nashua PAL Storm Football & Spirit


The Nashua PAL Storm (previously Force) Football and Spirit is one of the top programs in the state serving over 300 youth. No matter what level of experience our PAL youth have, we aim to teach productive skills that are valued over a lifetime. PAL Storm focuses on teamwork, challenging yourself, and having fun!

Competitive football and spirit programs are offered for ages 5 through 15.

  • PAL Sorm offers a recreational Flag Football and Tiny Mite program offered to ages 5, 6, and 7.
  • Football is offered for age 5 through 8th grade
  • Cheer is offered for ages 5-14.

Fall Cheer begins the last week of July and involves cheering at games and invitational competitions. Storm also has a State, Regional and National championship structure. Winter Cheer begins at the end of December and will involve 4-5 local competitions with the possibility of an out-of-area competition as well.

The PAL Storm (Force) program has earned over 50 State, Regional, and National championship titles in the past 19 years – Go Storm!

Nashua PAL Street Hockey

Nashua PAL Street Hockey is offered to middle school youth athletes interested in learning about and playing hockey. The 6-week spring season is coached current and/or former Police Officers at the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Nashua.

The season is kicked-off by a jamboree for all players and concludes with two weeks of tournament style play. All necessary equipment is provided to all players. For more information about joining the PAL Street Hockey program, contact us via the contact form.

Nashua PAL St. Pat's Open Gym


Nashua PAL Open Gym is a no cost program for youth enrolled in school, positive in the community, and demonstrating progress in the classroom. This gym is also home to the PAL Gate City Thunder Basketball team and several community partners practicing sports.

Nashua PAL St. Patrick’s Open Gym is located on Main Street, open to all youth after school (Monday – Friday, 3-6 PM).

Nashua PAL Track & Field

The youth track & field program is a program offered by the Nashua Police Athletic League (PAL) and Gate City Striders (GCS) for boys and girls ages 7 through 14, who are interested in competing in track and field events. Middle school and High school athletes under 18 are invited to participate at the conclusion of their school track & field season. Athletes without a school program can join at the beginning of the program. It includes twice-weekly coached workouts. Athletes can also choose to participate in the USATF Junior Olympic Track and Field Championships in June (optional).
 

This is a developmental program designed to teach kids proper form in running, jumping and throwing in preparation for competing in track and field meets.  Emphasis is on the development of the skills necessary to become more efficient runners, jumpers and throwers. Kids are encouraged to try events of different distances and the various field events.  All practices will have a running component before field event practice.  Meets are seen as an extension of our practices.  Program instruction will cover what to expect at track meets and the logistics of a track meet.
